Peru Mining Round

Vancouver, Canada | November 2nd

SUMMARY

This year, the 5th Peru Investment Forum dedicated a full day in New York, to highlight Peru at the global level and help consolidate investor confidence across all sectors but especially in mining.

The Follow-Up Round in Vancouver comes as a response to the Canadian Mining Community to continue the discussion with the Government of Peru on experiences, opportunities and challenges in the Peruvian mining sector, and to inform on the Peruvian government’s efforts to implement a dialogue and sustainability vision in Peru.

The Peru Investment Forum is a world class annual platform that gathers private and public sector leaders to discuss investment opportunities and experiences in Peru. In 2011, with President Ollanta Humala, the Forum analysed the financial sector and capital market in Peru; the 2010 Forum, with former President of Peru Alan Garcia, examined the Infrastructure Sector; while the 2009 Forum focused on the Energy Sector; the 1st Forum in 2008 showcased the most important sectors in Peru’s economy.
